Tue, 20 March 2007 Things We Do For Fun In The Winter!
Welcome to episode four of our little show!
This one was the chilly podcast! Everybody braved the snow and the cold weather to make this one a great addition to The Story So Far. Even our editor Renee came outside her edit suite (she's the one who throws the snow on Mark in the beginning) to have some fun for this episode!
(Throws snowball and ducks)
Enjoy!

Tue, 28 November 2006 Kristen here- I'm so glad to say that our next episode is online and we're officially a podcast! Look at this picture, I look pretty funny with my sister in this screen capture but it was really exciting to see my sister in Edmonton. Her and her roomates live in a big house together at the University of Alberta and they seem to have a lot of fun! They were pretty good about us taking over their yard to shoot this segment.
Not only was that fun, but I wound up being involved in every segment of this episode! I got to clean up with Jess, and Renee and Bruce and I had some messy fun- which actually was pretty stinky... I couldn't even smell that mixture of liquid!
I hope you enjoy it! As always we're available at thestorysofarpodcast@gmail.com and my goal over Christmas is to get us an actual site! Comments[0] |
Sun, 22 October 2006 Filming August Snow was really fun. It took awhile to get Nick (snowboard instructor) and Dominic (camera man) to get pulled together to do the shoot between snowboarding, working and doing lots of fun stuff in Queenstown finding time was tricky. We managed to and it took longer then we thought it would- of COURSE! That is the way it is in film, video and TV! Once we got sorted and I had a chance to really see how this was going to be put together it was fun. We had a few missed cues so we had to redo a couple of scenes like the one when I say ‘it’s snowing’ and Nick (who was sitting right beside me on the rock) throws snow on me in that take, but the one just before that he totally forgot to throw it on me when I said ‘snowing’. We laughed a lot because he said the snow was really heavy. It’s actually really wet snow down there- just so you know and a lot of it is man made because Queenstown gets really infrequent dumps of snow. Not like Canada where we have solid white falling down for what? 6 months would you say?
I had a lot of fun with the guys filming Things that Move: August Snow and a REALLY GREAT time in New Zealand that I will never, never forget. Living in a ski town and working on the mountain for a season was awesome. The most unique experience I have had with snow!!!! So far at least.
Until next time keep being adventurous! It’s very important!
